FAQ
30 answers on the engine, the modules, verification, markets and how to commission.
AXLRx is a commercial consulting engine for pharma, built by MoatRx. It takes a commercial question about a drug, a market and a buyer, and returns a consulting deliverable in which every figure is traced to a live source. It runs as a commissioned service: there is no platform to operate.
Scope is confirmed within 24 hours of your request, and the deliverable arrives within 72 hours.
Each figure is cited to a PMID, trial ID or source URL at the point of writing, checked to appear in the cited document, and re-checked in an independent audit pass. A figure that fails is removed, not estimated. A MoatRx consultant reads every deliverable before it ships.
Four modules run on the engine: Competitive Intelligence, KOL Mapping, Clinical Trial Analytics and Patient Flow. The library also holds disease landscape, payer and HTA, launch readiness, pricing, market sizing and HTA strategy analyses, which are run as scoped engagements.
Use the commission form, or book a 20-minute scoping call. You tell us the drug, the market, the buyer and the decision; we confirm scope within 24 hours.
The engine's reasoning layer runs on a frontier language model, currently Anthropic's Claude, working to the MoatRx method. The model is never a source: every figure comes from a connected primary source such as PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, FDA or EMA, and is checked against that source before it is kept.
The library covers the US, UK, GCC, Germany and France. Other markets are scoped on request.
It answers the commercial questions behind launch, access and portfolio decisions: competitive position, opinion leaders, patient numbers, payer and HTA logic, pricing and field strategy.
AI shortens the research and drafting that consume most of an engagement. The risk is unsourced output. AXLRx uses AI to retrieve, read and draft, and drops any figure it cannot find in the document it cites.
Test traceability, fit to your asset, market coverage, who reviews the work, what files you receive and how long the answer takes. The six questions above are a working checklist.
No. AXLRx answers a defined commercial question quickly and to a verified standard. When a decision needs a full engagement, MoatRx, the firm behind AXLRx, takes it on directly.
Pharmaceutical competitive intelligence maps who controls which patient cohort in a market, on what clinical and access evidence, and where a new asset can win. AXLRx builds it asset by asset, with every figure traced to its source.
The AI engine plans the retrieval, reads trial, regulatory and payer sources and drafts the competitive matrix. It is never the source of a figure: each claim is found in the document it cites, and a consultant reads the result before it ships.
Scope is confirmed within 24 hours and the deliverable arrives within 72 hours.
KOL mapping identifies the clinicians who shape practice in an indication and a market, and ranks them on public evidence: guideline and consensus roles, society offices, congress podiums, trials, publications and journal boards.
The engine reads the full publication corpus and every channel's public record, resolves one person across spellings and sources, and applies the same rubric to every clinician. The bar, two independent signals with one of them leadership, is applied by rule, not by judgement.
Yes. The library holds KOL maps for the UK and the Gulf, and the method was built on markets where much of the record sits in society pages and congress programmes rather than in PubMed.
It is a structured map of the trials in an indication: sponsors, phases, status, endpoints and sites, read from the registry by trial ID, so a team can see which programmes are closest to a readout and what each is built to win on.
From the trial registries, read record by record by trial ID, and from the trials' primary publications where the registry does not name investigators.
A patient flow model follows a population from incidence or prevalence through diagnosis, treatment and eligibility to the pool an asset's label can address, with a sourced conversion at each step.
The patient flow model sizes the addressable pool and shows where patients leak from it. A forecast then applies uptake, share and price to that pool over time.
A live Excel workbook with every conversion sourced and every assumption editable, and a PDF brief that explains the funnel.
The competitive position the asset enters, the patient pool its label can reach, the access conditions in each market, and the capabilities that must be in place at launch.
Scope is confirmed within 24 hours and the deliverable arrives within 72 hours.
The HTA and payer framework in each market, how comparable drugs were assessed, the evidence a submission needs, and the consequence for price and access.
Yes. The library holds Gulf payer and HTA analyses built on the SFDA registration and pricing framework and the tender and insurance channels of each market.
With KOL maps tiered on public evidence and rated for engagement fit, and with clinical trial landscapes read from the registry by trial ID.
The map is built from the public record only: publications, guidelines, trial records, congress programmes, society and journal pages. Contact and engagement decisions stay with your team and your compliance review.
An assessment of an asset's commercial potential: the competitive set, the addressable patient pool, the access and pricing outlook and the risks to uptake.
